We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Locum Emergency Department Physician to provide exceptional care just north of Boston across three sites. As a locum tenens physician, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality emergency medical services to a diverse patient population. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a renowned healthcare environment while enjoying the vibrant culture and rich history of the Boston area.
Compensation: $275 Per Hour
Position Highlights:
- Coverage at 3 sites north of Boston
- 3-4 shift availability per month required
- Overnight shifts are the greatest need
- No pediatrics
- Not a trauma center
- All candidates must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients in the Emergency Department
- Provide timely and effective emergency medical care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments and treatments
- Participate in patient care quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (EM required)
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Massachusetts
- Current DEA registration
