Employee Relations Consultant (King of Prussia, PA | Hybrid/Contract)
Contract Duration: 3 months (potential to extend or convert)
Soni's client is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Consultant to manage a heavy ER caseload, support managers and employees, and ensure fair, consistent application of company policies. This high-impact role partners closely with HRBPs and Legal to resolve complex employee issues, influence positive outcomes, and maintain compliance with US employment laws. The ideal candidate is empathetic, decisive, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Employee Relations Consultant:
  • Manage Employee Relations cases, including investigations, conflict resolution, and policy escalations.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance, conduct, and organizational change.
  • Partner with HRBPs and Legal to ensure consistent application of policies and practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality and apply sound judgment in all employee matters.
  • Influence positive outcomes that support culture and compliance objectives.

Required Qualifications of the Employee Relations Consultant:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, including Employee Relations.
  • Experience managing a heavy ER caseload in organizations of ~1,400 employees.
  • Knowledge of US employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills of the Employee Relations Consultant:
  • SHRM-CP or other HR certifications.
  • Investigation certification.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to influence leaders and employees while maintaining firmness.

Compensation: $30 to $35 an hour
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications
