Role Overview:
As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will conduct MRI exams, selecting specific software parameters as per established protocols to assist physicians in diagnosing conditions. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, administering contrast media, and accurately selecting the anatomic and technical parameters to produce high-quality cross-sectional images.
QualificationsEducation:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (ARRT) or an Associate Degree focused on MRI from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARM RIT)
Licensure, Certification, Registration:
- ARRT certification in Radiography OR ARRT MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
