Medicaid & Disclosure Risk Management Analyst

A recognized services company in New York City is actively seeking a new Medicaid & Disclosure Risk Management Analyst. In this role, the qualified professional will be focused on enabling secure, compliant, and effective use of New York State Medicaid data to support public health research and operations.
***This qualified professional must reside in the Tri-State Area (New York, New Jersey, and/or Connecticut) .***
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support, including Extraction Transformation Load (ETL), to Agency researchers that use NYS Medicaid data
- Handle email and telephone communications between Medicaid Data Warehouse customer service and the department.
- Maintain Medicaid Data Warehouse technical documentation for department staff
- Support data governance, including ensuring compliance, for staff accessing Medicaid data
- Provide Disclosure Risk Management guidance to program analysts and conduct datasets
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- High fluency and advanced experience in SQL, R, and Python programming languages
- Experience with or a background in Statistics and Confidentiality Risk Assessment
- Working knowledge of NYS Medicaid Data Warehouse
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Data Wrangling
- Solid understanding of Data Governance as a matter of compliance with Federal, NYS and local laws, regulations and policies
- Knowledge of public health research and operations, including health equity
- Demonstrable ability to document and communicate complex technical knowledge in language that is shareable with all levels of staff.
- Strong experience with PL/SQL
- Experience with Disclosure Risk Management
