Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Mortgage and GSE environments, capable of interfacing seamlessly between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience working in Agile/PMO-driven environments, preferably with Federal Government consulting exposure and top-tier consulting firms.

Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 10-12 years of overall Business Analysis experience
  • Bachelor's degree (US education preferred)
  • Experience working with Federal Government or Government-sponsored entities (GSEs)
  • Prior experience with Big 4 or top-tier consulting firms (e.g., Booz Allen Hamilton strongly preferred)
  • Strong Mortgage industry background (end-to-end lifecycle knowledge)
  • Proven experience in BBA / PMO / Agile delivery models
  • Local candidates preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and validation activities
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and specifications
  • Design process flows, data flows, and functional/technical specifications
  • Define project objectives, scope, and conduct feasibility analysis
  • Write clear, actionable user stories covering both business functionality and technical capabilities
  • Support development, system integration testing (SIT), and UAT phases
  • Create and document UAT strategies, test plans, test cases, and scripts
  • Provide continuous support to Product Owners and delivery teams in product-related decisions
  • Promote a customer-centric mindset across the Modern Delivery team
  • Support development teams with in-depth product and domain knowledge.
Technical & Functional Skills
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end SDLC
  • Experience with API-based applications and web services
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar
  • Knowledge of manual and automated testing concepts
  • Proficiency in documenting business and technical requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Agile & Modern Delivery
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Proactively applies Modern Delivery practices
  • Collaborates effectively with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and stakeholders
