X-Ray Tech Location: Columbia, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,386 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (09:00 - 17:30) Experience: 2 years required (will accept 1st-time travelers) License: Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT; ACLS preferred Description: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM. Rotating weekends every 6 weeks with 50% of holidays during the assignment. Siemens, McKesson, or GE experience preferred. Level 1 Trauma Center experience is required. Experience in Emergency Department, inpatient, and operating room settings is essential. Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups is necessary. Candidates must possess BLS and ARRT certifications. ACLS certification is preferred. Essential job functions include: - Ability to work at the assigned location throughout the contractual engagement. - Ability to work the majority of the assigned shift. - Ability to take call as required. - Ability to work assigned weekends. - Ability to work at least 50% of the holidays occurring during the contract. Previous charge experience preferred. Experience with trauma level 1 is required. Travel experience is required. Skills include: - Proficiency in performing various radiological procedures. - Familiarity with infection prevention and isolation precautions. - Ability to prepare and administer contrast media. Fast-paced environment with a wide variety of exams. Interdisciplinary support available. Candidates should expect a daily census of 200-300 cases. Experience with specific equipment and procedures is preferred. Floating to different units may be required. Floating to various departments as needed, including Patient Observer roles.
