Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Preschool Assistant Director to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting and possess exceptional office management, administrative, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Preschool Director in managing the daily operations of the preschool, including scheduling, staff management, and classroom activities.
  • Oversee and ensure the smooth running of the preschool's office, including maintaining records, filing, and administrative duties.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards.
  • Support in the hiring, training, and supervision of preschool staff, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Manage enrollment processes and maintain accurate student records.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and community outreach programs.
  • Manage communication between staff and parents.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an assistant director.
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Must have completed 40 hours of Director Training.
  • Exceptional office management and organizational skills including written and verbal communications.
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Proficient with office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, etc.) and general office equipment.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and child-centered educational practices.


Compensation: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
