Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Electromechanical Technician 3's for a contract opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• High school degree or equivalent and 7 years' related experience.
• Basic knowledge of hand-tool use and safety.
• Mechanical and electrical precision assembly.
• Understanding drawings, work orders, and test procedures.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for an Electromechanical Technician 3 to support the Subassembly Manufacturing Assembly Resource and Test Lab (SMART Lab) assembling and testing propulsion systems.
Responsibilities:
• Working lab priority work orders as determined by leadership.
• Mechanically and electrically assemble and test propulsion thrusters.
• Mechanically and electrically assemble propulsion subsystems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Orbital welding.
• Hand TIG welding.
• Pneumatic and Vacuum set up and test.
• Electrical functional set up and test.
• Sheet metal fabrication.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma/GED required.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 9/80 workweek. 1st Shift. On-site.
