Shift: Day, 8 hours/day, 40 hour/week
Rate: $20.00 - $24.00/hr
Notes:
Performs all functions as described in the job summary for a non-lead anesthesia technician position such as maintaining par levels for anesthesia and non-controlled medications in all anesthesia locations including TUH-Main, Client, and Boyer ORs as well as all remote areas such as L&D, GI, IR and EP. In addition, the purpose of this position is to provide mentoring and guidance to new and less experienced anesthesia technicians. Works with CSR and Purchasing department to ensure the management of all anesthesia purchases; including the removal of all recall supplies. Works with Biomedical Engineering to ensure that broken and malfunctioning equipment is removed from service, repaired in a timely manner and returned to service. Works with all OR colleagues to ensure that all TUH ORs and procedural areas are providing safe, efficient and cost-effective patient care at all times.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- Trade School Surgical Technician Preferred.
- Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 2 years experience utilizing sterilization techniques in an OR Required.
- 3 years experience functioning as an anesthesia technician in an OR Required.
- Licenses Amer Society Anesthesia Tech Preferred.
