Job role: Sr. Front-End Developer

Primary Skills (Must-Have)

Web Standards and HTML Semantics, CSS, WCAG 2.0 and ADA Compliance, Modular CSS (BEM or similar), CSS Preprocessors (Sass, Less), Advanced JavaScript, Angular (or equivalent modern framework like React or Vue), Reusable UI Component Development, Unit Testing and Automated Testing, Design and UX Familiarity, and strong Communication Skills (verbal and written).

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

TypeScript, Responsive Design, Cross-Browser Compatibility, Performance Optimization, Accessibility Testing Tools (AXE, Lighthouse), Agile/Scrum Experience, RESTful API Integration, Version Control (Git), CI/CD exposure, and familiarity with Design Systems or Pattern Libraries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accessible, standards-compliant web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ensure all deliverables align with WCAG 2.0 and ADA accessibility standards.
  • Implement modular CSS using BEM or similar methodologies to maintain scalable and maintainable codebases.
  • Use Angular (or equivalent) frameworks to build reusable UI components.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI design teams to ensure design consistency and performance optimization.
  • Write unit and automated tests to ensure quality and maintainability.
