Position Overview:
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments while documenting according to company policy and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately assess and identify patients' conditions.
- Continuously assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to the care provided.
- Utilize sound nursing judgment to make informed patient care management decisions.
- Provide both primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
- Administer medications as prescribed, including over-the-counter and prescription options.
- Work collaboratively with our nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for every patient.
- Guide and direct ancillary personnel while upholding the highest professional nursing standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
- Must possess a current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
- 1-3 years of prior clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
- Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques, with a proven ability to apply them for quality improvement in patient care.
