About the Opportunity

A supportive school district in beautiful Palm Springs, CA is seeking an experienced and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team immediately. This is a full-time, on-site role working with a K-12 caseload of approximately 55 students. You'll be providing direct therapy, evaluations, and participating in the IEP process while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team committed to student growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 student population.

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students.

  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and contribute to IEP meetings.

  • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in accordance with California state, local, and federal regulations.

  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, families, and administrators to support student success.

  • Utilize the California IEP system confidently and efficiently.

  • Deliver school-based and pediatric-focused therapy using evidence-based practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)

  • Active California SLP License in good standing

  • Strong understanding of IDEA, state guidelines, and local district procedures

  • Experience in school-based settings and/or pediatrics

  • Proficiency with California IEP systems and documentation standards

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
