MLR Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Coordinator of Laboratory Services, ASCP certified, to lead the laboratory team at a renowned healthcare facility in Georgia. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operations of our laboratory services, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in all aspects of testing and analysis. You will be responsible for coordinating laboratory activities, managing staff, and implementing best practices to support exceptional patient care. Pay: $85,688 - $102,231
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing training and professional development for laboratory staff, ensuring they are proficient in current techniques, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently and equipment is properly calibrated and functioning.
- Manage the compilation and analysis of laboratory data, prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders, and use data insights to drive continuous improvement in laboratory processes and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology
- ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHA (HEW)
- 4 years prior clinical laboratory experience
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Master's degree in science preferred
