Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in assisted living facilities (ALFs), skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and other post-acute care settings.
  • Observe and report on the general health and welfare of residents.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, feeding, mobility, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Check vital signs and report any abnormalities to supervising staff.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Transport residents throughout the facility as needed.
  • Foster companionship and support the dignity of residents.
  • Effectively communicate with visitors, family members, and other staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certifications.
  • Understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures.
  • Strong organizational and observational skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
