Description:
We are excited to invite a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship-trained physician to join a dynamic and supportive team in a bustling pediatric emergency department.
The department handles a wide variety of patient acuity and provides robust subspecialty support.
There are excellent teaching opportunities available, along with an unbeatable quality of life in a vibrant city with endless outdoor activities.
As a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician, you will provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume setting with approximately 55,000 annual visits.
You will collaborate closely with subspecialty teams, including PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalists to manage complex cases.
You will work alongside a strong support team, including child life specialists and pediatric social workers.
Engagement in bedside teaching and supervision of Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice residents from multiple programs will be part of your role.
Participation in training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows is encouraged if desired.
Full scribe coverage will be provided to optimize patient care and documentation.
Physician-led teams ensure excellent compensation, benefits, and institutional support.
Experience a rich mix of pathology and patient acuity in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Residency within the immediate local area is required.
Relocation may be necessary for candidates who do not already live in the area.
