About the Role
As a Physician Assistant for Matrix, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments during in-home visits that last up to one hour. These assessments allow us to capture in-depth insights into our members' health, medical history, and social circumstances, ultimately improving their care quality. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing adult and geriatric assessments encompassing medical history, diagnosis, treatment, health education, and necessary referrals, all documented per Matrix protocols.
- Administering and ordering point-of-care and lab-based tests as needed.
- Collaborating with physicians, case managers, social workers, and family members to coordinate care effectively.
- Engaging in patient education and follow-up in collaboration with Primary Care Physicians.
- Providing services in members' residences, including their homes or Skilled Nursing Facilities.

- Flexibility: Schedule visits around your availability. Assessments are conducted Sunday to Saturday, from 8 am to 7 pm, allowing you to work as per your convenience.
- Competitive Pay: Your earnings will reflect your commitment With compensation based on the number of assessments completed, those averaging 20-100 visits monthly can earn between $1,800 and $11,500, depending on factors such as your state of residence.

- Licensure Support: If business needs arise, we will help you acquire additional state licensure to enhance your service capacity.
- Path to Full-Time Opportunities: Successful PRN providers may transition to full-time positions with added bonuses.
Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree or equivalent experience with completion of NP or PA licensure.
- Current NP or PA licensure in the practice state, including prescription authority or the ability to obtain it.
- Certification by NCCPA, AANP, ANCC, or AACCN in relevant specialties.
- Current BLS, ACLS, or CPR certification.
- Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- A valid state driver's license and proof of adequate auto insurance.
- Adeptness with medical software and strong communication skills.
