We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Physician to join our compassionate care team. We are looking for a dedicated provider to ensure exceptional patient care within our Rehabilitation Hospital and care facilities.

The ideal candidate will hold valid medical licenses in both Kansas and Missouri, as the role involves visiting and providing consultations for patients in Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRFs) and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) throughout the greater Kansas City area.

This position focuses on providing general rehabilitation services, and we welcome applications from either PM&R/Physiatric specialists or pain management physicians willing to engage in general rehab.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive history and physical exams with a focus on general rehabilitation.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests including blood tests and imaging.
  • Reviewing and approving rehabilitation care plans as necessary.
  • Actively participating in interdisciplinary teams and patient care conferences.
  • Diagnosing and managing acute illnesses and chronic conditions, and providing health maintenance education and counseling.
  • Prescribing medications and collaborating with other physicians for comprehensive care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and a system to track patient progress.
  • Informing and educating patients about their health conditions and care plans.
  • Monitoring patient compliance with treatment regimens and addressing potential barriers to success.
  • Following up with discharged patients to assess ongoing needs and care requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Valid medical license in both Kansas and Missouri.
  • MD/DO board-certified/board-eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or related fields such as Pain Management/Anesthesiology.

Schedule:

  • Full-time position.

Salary:

  • Compensation ranges from $300,000 to $350,000, plus bonus opportunities.
