Job Summary:

The Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for overseeing the entire recruitment process and creating effective strategies to meet staffing requirements for Vista Care. They will use their skills and experience to help the organization succeed by sourcing, attracting and hiring top talent. They are expected to collaborate with executive leaders, colleagues, and other operations leaders to achieve organizational goals, and drive execution of care and service in accordance with Vista Care's mission, vision, and values as well as in line with all regulatory standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to attract and hire the best candidates for open positions. They consider such factors as budget, time constraints and their organization's culture and values.
  • Set clear and achievable hiring goals and objectives. These align with their organization's overall objectives and growth plans.
  • Allocates and manages the recruitment budget effectively to ensure the optimal utilization of resources. These resources include job boards, recruitment agencies and marketing campaigns.
  • Create and publish job advertisements on various platforms to attract all kinds of candidates. These platforms can include job boards, social media and their organization's website.
  • Oversee the process of screening applications, conducting interviews and selecting candidates who best fit their organization's needs and culture. They also conduct interviews with hiring managers or other team members.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates. This ensures that a talent pool is available for current and future hiring needs.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand each position's specific requirements. They ensure that recruitment efforts align with departmental and organizational goals.
  • Monitoring and evaluating recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions to improve the hiring process.
  • Maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Promoting employer branding and creating a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. This directly impacts the quality of candidates and their organization's reputation in the job market.
  • Coach and develop the recruitment team. This ensures that all members possess the necessary skills, knowledge and resources necessary to perform their duties effectively.
  • Continually improving strategy by exploring ways to streamline and improve Vista Care's recruitment processes and leveraging new technologies and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years leadership experience required including mentorship, management and supervision of others required.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Thorough understanding of human resources and labor relations, principles, practices and procedures.
  • Strategic and innovative problem solver who demonstrates the ability to make effective decisions that align with Vista Care Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex information across various audiences.
  • Demonstrated record of goal achievement and of successfully taking on increased responsibility with positive results.
  • Demonstrated ability to be adaptable and willing to be a change agent.
  • High degree of comfort with ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and following through to ensure excellence in execution.
  • High emotional intelligence and experience in developing a diverse and inclusive workforce and working effectively with people of different work styles and backgrounds.

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • A college, university degree or the equivalent is preferred. Social services, human resources, public administration, or other similar fields preferred.
  • Master's degree in business, human resources, or another related field preferred
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Position is hybrid or remote in nature
  • Up to 30% travel may be required to Vista Care locations
  • May be required to work non-traditional hours to meet the demands of a 24/7 business operation.
  • Frequent activities- standing, walking, sitting for long periods of time, viewing computer screen(s)
