About the Job:

As the General Manager of Restaurant Operations, you will lead an energetic team while selecting and developing exceptional talent to provide outstanding customer experiences. Expect to work approximately 50 hours a week.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Recruit, onboard, and conduct orientations for outstanding team members and shift leads to build a well-prepared team.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive training plan, mentoring Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Member Trainers while overseeing all training initiatives.
  • Recognize and reward exemplary team member performance regularly while promoting a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Address and resolve conflicts efficiently to maintain a positive and productive work atmosphere.
  • Engage with customers personally and promptly resolve any issues to guarantee a delightful experience.
  • Strategically schedule staff to maximize customer service, coach the management team on high standards, and lead product rollout meetings for successful implementation.
  • Analyze the restaurant's financial performance, oversee the budget, and craft strategies to optimize profitability without compromising the guest experience.
  • Stay updated on competitors and aim to surpass their standards in all aspects, including digital presence and loyalty programs.

Is this you?

  • 5 years of restaurant or retail management experience with a proven record in people management.
  • Ability to enhance performance through effective P&L analysis.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms.
  • Exceptional communication skills in written, verbal, and interpersonal contexts.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant maintenance programs.
  • Champions the company's culture and values, emphasizing Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging.
  • Experienced in recognizing and motivating teams, with a successful track record in developing people.
  • Skilled in recruiting talented individuals and training both high and under-performing staff.
  • Adaptive to change and knowledgeable in supporting change management.
  • Ensures adherence to corporate policies and Occupational Health and Food Safety standards.
