Description
DeepSig Inc. is a venture-backed technology company pioneering the use of AI in 5G and other wireless systems by replacing traditional signal processing with machine learning. DeepSig software products are achieving significant performance increases while reducing power consumption, bringing significant value to our customers.
We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 who will contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of our core software products. This internship will provide hands-on experience working on applied research software, advanced wireless systems, and AI/ML-driven solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting software development, testing, and validation in C/C++, Python, and Linux environments.
- Assisting with prototyping and feature development for ML/DSP/Configuration software.
- Gaining exposure to 5G & Open RAN radios, SDR systems, and high-performance computing platforms.
- Collaborating with product leads, researchers, and engineers on applied research and product development tasks.
- Learning modern software engineering practices in a small, agile team environment.
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Junior or Senior standing)
- Familiarity with programming in C/C++ and Python.
- Basic knowledge of Linux development environments and version control (Git).
- Interest in wireless systems, signal processing, or machine learning.
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and ability to work collaboratively.
