About The Role:
Seeking a Project Manager for the implementation of the System. This is a high-risk, high-visibility project requiring strict adherence to requirements and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Daily interaction with stakeholders, project team members, and staff.
- Attendance at virtual and in-person project meetings daily.
- Management of project performance metrics and data recording.
- Adhering to Commonwealth Project Management Standards.
- Coordinating the project calendar.
- Conducting briefings on project status to internal and external audiences.
- Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Documented risk management experience.
- Experience in managing projects of $5M or more.
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with the Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP) is highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Completion of a large-scale project ($10M+) as PM of record.
- Experience with Commonwealth Project Management (CPM) methodologies.
- Active PMI PMP or ACP certification.
- Documented risk management experience.
- Review of PM qualification consistent with VITA PMQR and CIO overview.
- Familiarization with the Commonwealth's Technology Portfolio (CTP) tool, Planview Enterprise One.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Self-starter with minimal supervision needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
