Physician Assistant Job Details - Dayton, OH

• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel/Contract Physician Assistant job)
• Location: Dayton, OH 45409 (Ohio healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Inpatient Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Start Date: February 2, 2026
• End Date: May 4, 2026 (10-week minimum, potential extension)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible hours (e.g., 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts (any)
• No weekends or holidays required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $4200-$4500 per week

Physician Assistant Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant license (Ohio PA license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant, ideally in cardiology or cardiac electrophysiology
• Experience with device checks; ability to perform device changes is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and patient documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Cardiac Electrophysiology PA Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient Cardiac Electrophysiology APP coverage
• Manage a daily caseload of 10-20 patients, including consults and follow-ups for electrophysiology conditions
• Independently evaluate and bill for follow-up patients and consults
• Collaborate with Electrophysiology physicians and other Advanced Practice Providers
• Occasionally serve as the second APP on the EP service
• Perform and interpret device checks; conduct device changes if qualified
• Maintain accurate, thorough patient documentation in compliance with clinical standards
