What You'll Do:
- Provide therapeutic services primarily in school settings to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to tailor interventions for individuals.
- Create personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the treatment team.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
- Engage with educational staff to support students and assist in developing treatment goals.
- Document all interactions and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic care and effective treatment strategies.
- Provide immediate support during crisis situations and develop safety plans as needed.
- Promote mental health awareness through outreach to schools and the community.
- Connect individuals and families to additional support resources as required.
- Stay updated with best practices in therapy through continuous training and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience working with children and families, including educational internships.
- Eligibility for licensure in Georgia as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW is essential.
