Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to post-acute residents
  • Monitor residents’ health status and communicate updates to nursing staff
  • Measure and document vital signs
  • Assist residents with grooming, feeding, toileting, and essential daily activities
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following hygiene best practices
  • Transport residents within the facility and assist with mobility
  • Engage with residents daily to provide comfort and build trust
  • Follow care plans and adhere to relevant regulations and policies
  • Facilitate communication between residents, their families, and staff

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
  • Understanding of basic nursing procedures and healthcare terminology
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
