Order Entry Clerk

Our client is a multi-client 3rd party warehousing associated services. They are looking for a Order Entry Clerk for their Hammond, IN facility.
This is a trial-to-hire opportunity. 1st Shift 8:30am - 5pm
Pay will start at $17/ hour
What you will do:
-Process customer orders in WMS and customer systems daily
-Communicate effectively with the customer, carriers, warehouse personnel,
management, etc.
-Can multi-task check-in drivers and answer phones.
-Provides support to the warehouse and Operations Manager when needed.
-Proficient in Office products and email communications.
-Processes weekly and end-of-month billing in a timely manner.
Requirements:
-Prior experience with a Third-party warehouse or logistics setting
-Must have Hazardous materials knowledge and prepare DOT
documents experience.
-Strong Computer skills / Data entry
-Highschool Diploma or GED required
