What You'll Do
- Own the day-to-day accounting operations-general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that tell the real story.
- Manage grant accounting and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Partner with program teams to monitor budgets and prepare reports for funders.
- Maintain strong internal controls and safeguard organizational assets.
- Lead the annual audit process and collaborate with external auditors.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Expertise in grant management and fund accounting.
- Strong proficiency in SAGE Intacct (a must-have).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA is a big plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and an excellent communicator.
