Job Title: Material Handler/Order Selector
Location: Nashville, TN
Shift: 1st Shift 7:30AM-4PM Monday-Friday *Potenial Saturday if needed
Pay Rate: $17 per Hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler / Order Selector to join our cleints Moving and Warehouse team. This role involves accurately selecting, staging, and preparing customer orders, as well as handling, organizing, and moving materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good physical stamina, and experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull, organize, and stage materials and moving equipment based on customer orders and job requirements.
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks, and powered equipment.
- Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Verify accuracy of orders and document inventory movements using inventory systems or manual logs.
- Wrap, pack, and secure furniture and other items for safe transport.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse space.
- Assist with warehouse inventory counts and restocking as needed.
- Inspect and report damaged or missing items to supervisors.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work closely with drivers, movers, and warehouse staff to ensure efficient flow of operations.
