Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our high-performing brand marketing team. Reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate will support various digital marketing initiatives, including email marketing, social media management, website updates, and data verification. This full-time, in-person position requires flexibility to work during weekends and evenings for events.
Key Responsibilities
• Email Marketing:
o Assist in crafting, scheduling, deploying, and monitoring email campaigns using our email service providers.
o Maintenance and upkeep of digital marketing calendar, mailer drop schedules, and email deployments.
• Social Media Management:
o In collaboration with the social media manager, gather and create engaging content for various social media platforms.
o Schedule posts to ensure a consistent and strategic online presence.
o Monitor and respond professionally to comments and inquiries across social media channels.
• Data Verification:
o Regularly check and verify the accuracy of online information, digital content and casino offers.
o Maintain business listings across TripAdvisor, Yelp, Google Business profiles, Bing, Apple Maps, and more.
• Website Updates: Assist with updating content on the company website using our content management system (CMS).
• Event Support: Participate in on-site events during weekends and evenings, capturing live content and engaging with attendees to promote SAHARA Las Vegas, in collaboration with the social media manager.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Marketing Team and cross-functional teams to align digital strategies with overall marketing objectives.
• Other activities and duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
• Passion for Digital Marketing: A strong enthusiasm for the digital marketing space and a desire to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Understanding of social media etiquette and effective communication strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to perform data checking and ensure accuracy.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing best practices, including website and email design, and social media management.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and email service providers.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Collaborative, creative, takes initiative, and great with follow-through.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills, and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
• Sense of humor a plus.
Additional Requirements
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
• Must be able to work on-site at SAHARA Las Vegas.
