Position Overview
The Project Engineer will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and execution of engineering projects within Plastikon Industries . This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness of manufacturing projects. The Project Engineer w ill need to meet customer requirements while maintaining Plastikon's high standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and company standards.
- Understand drawings and documentations to fully understand customer requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including production, quality, and supply chain, to ensure smooth project execution.
- P rovide timely updates to Program Manager and project stakeholders .
- Develop Process Flow chart (PF) and p erform risk assessments (PFMEA) nd develop mitigation strategies to address any potential project issues.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Work with Process Engineer and Quality Engineer to t roubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during project phases.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, specifications,
- Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services as required for project success.
- Continuously improve project processes and share best practices across teams.
- Generate Standardized Work Instruction (SWI) and train production operators accordingly.
- Support q ualification process by attending each injection molding and assembly trials.
- Ensure company safety requirements are met by evaluating the safety assessment with Safety Manager
- Prepare documentation and handover to production before mass production.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in software like Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, Excelsheet
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards, such as ISO 13485 , is a plus.
- Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment.
- Occasional travel to customer sites or other company facilities may be required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
