Copper Service Installation Technician (1099)
We are looking for experienced I&R Copper Technicians to perform drop work, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of POTS (Plain Old Telephone), high-speed internet, ONT installations. This could include wiring, video equipment and voice networks. Maintaining and repairing outside copper plant within assigned geographic service areas is also included.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Technician must have their own truck, van, or SUV with ladder rack
- Technician must have their own tools to perform the job as well as an android smart phone & laptop
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must be available to work flexible hours (weekend work may be required)
- Physical ability to work various in conditions, including working in attics, crawl spaces, and in adverse weather conditions.
- Physical ability to work from a kneeling or standing position for long periods
- Physical ability to climb ladders with proper equipment (safety belt, safety strap, hard hat, and other equipment as needed).
- Able to lift and carry loads up to 75lbs including ladder
