As a Shipping Warehouseman you will:

  • Following well-defined procedures moves units within the storage and loading areas by performing the following duties.
  • Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or crates identifying shipping information on cartons.
  • Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
  • Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet handlers to move, convey, or hoist shipments from loading dock to carriers or from assembly area to storage or work area.
This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift 8:00am to 4:30pm.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous assembly experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 40 lbs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift operations: Sit-down forklift, on occasions the stand-up/reach trucks would be used as well
  • For forklift certification levels, required Classes: 1,2,4, and 5 (Class I. Electric Motor Rider Trucks, Class II. Electric Motor Narrow Aisle Trucks, Class IV. Internal Combustion Engine Trucks. Cushion Tires, Class V. Internal Combustion Engine Trucks. Pneumatic Tires). Class 3 is optional, but also nice to have (Class III: Electric motor hand trucks or hand/rider trucks) as they may need to move pallets with a hand pallet jack.

Pay Rate*: $23.67 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
