At Insider, we are aiming to grow our talented team by bringing on board a Senior Software Engineer. This role entails developing a diverse range of web-based products utilizing PHP and Go (or Node.js). You’ll have the opportunity to work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning technologies while addressing challenges in an environment where innovation thrives.

In your role as a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

  • Design, implement, and maintain reliable APIs and services.
  • Creatively address and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Mentor and support team members in enhancing their technical abilities.
  • Monitor and optimize performance metrics to ensure quality outcomes.

We would be excited to have you onboard if you have:

  • Experience designing scalable systems, particularly using Go.
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud services; a Solution Architect certification is a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with caching systems like Redis.
  • The ability to write clear, testable, and maintainable code.
  • A commitment to quality, with an emphasis on thorough documentation.
