About The Position
Join a respected free-standing cancer center in Greenville, South Carolina as a Locum Medical Oncologist covering a dynamic outpatient and inpatient oncology practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified Hematology & Oncology physician to step into a high-volume practice with a well-established team while enjoying comprehensive malpractice coverage and complimentary travel and lodging.
Position Highlights:-
Competitive Pay: $450/hr

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am to 4:30pm

Dates: Starting November 1, 2025 onwards

Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients
-
Practice Breakdown: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology
-
Patient Volume:
-
Outpatient: ~25 patients/day
-
Inpatient: ~20 patients/day
-

Clinical Duties:
-
Manage hematology and oncology cases
-
Participate in tumor boards
-
Manage bone marrow transplants and blood bank orders
-
Order diagnostic tests and imaging
-
Collaborate with nurse oncologists for chemotherapy administration

No call required - perfect for work-life balance

Work alongside a team of 7 physicians and 6 APPs in a busy, supportive environment

Full malpractice coverage provided

EPIC EMR system in place for streamlined documentation

Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology

Active SC license or willingness to obtain
