RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the collection and organizing of documents for the preparation of tax returns for individuals and businesses under the supervision of experienced tax professionals.
  • Perform research on various tax-related topics to support senior team members in providing sound tax advice and solutions
  • Organize and maintain tax documents and records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Input and verify data with precision, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all tax filings and reports
  • Support the tax team throughout the tax season by gathering relevant documentation and information
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and client satisfaction within the tax department

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of tax laws, principles, and practices is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
