About the PositionTravelNurseSource is working with to find a qualified Infusion RN in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, 81147
The Oncology Infusion RN is primarily responsible for outpatient infusion services, including the administration of chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, antibiotics, and blood products.
The role involves conducting patient assessments, managing infusion side effects, and providing comprehensive patient education on treatment and IV therapies for adult disease processes.

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

General Experience: At least 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience with an emphasis on IV insertions and phlebotomy skills.

Specialty Experience: Previous Infusion experience is required, with Previous Oncology Infusion experience also required.

Skills: Strong customer service skills and basic computer knowledge are required. Experience with Cerner EHR is preferred but not required.
