Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient surgical environment.
  • Prepare materials and equipment using aseptic techniques for surgical procedures.
  • Assist the surgical team by anticipating needs and passing instruments and supplies.
  • Set up operating rooms and ensure the functionality and sterility of all equipment.
  • Transport patients and supplies as required.
  • Provide basic patient positioning assistance and care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be obtained within 6 months if not already certified).

Skills and Abilities Needed:

  • Proficiency in aseptic techniques and operating room equipment.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport patients and equipment.
  • Capacity to perform various physical tasks while adhering to safety standards.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and high-stress environments.
