Job Summary

As a Branch Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations and growth of a local Brokerage office. You'll be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of brokers and sales reps, driving new business, and ensuring the branch consistently meets or exceeds its revenue and profitability goals. This role is ideal for a proven leader with strong experience in truckload brokerage and a passion for building high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all branch operations, including sales, brokerage, and customer service.
  • Develop and execute branch-level sales and growth strategies in line with company goals.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor brokers and sales reps to build a strong, motivated team.
  • Drive new business development while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.
  • Monitor branch performance using KPIs and financial metrics; ensure profitability targets are met.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Foster a positive, high-energy branch culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and customer service excellence.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients in the region.
  • Collaborate closely with corporate leadership on strategic initiatives and branch growth plans.
Requirements
Requirements
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in freight brokerage or 3PL, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/management capacity.
  • Proven track record of growing revenue, managing P&L, and leading a successful team.
  • Solid understanding of domestic truckload brokerage (reefer, produce, food a plus).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and retain top sales and operations talent.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Willingness to be on-site or hybrid, depending on the location.
  • Compensation is tied to branch performance, base plus commission/bonus.
