Your Role on the Team

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality maintenance services in our single-family rental homes, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

• Efficiently completing maintenance service requests across various trades.

• Providing outstanding customer service to enhance the living experience of our residents.

• Conducting regular ProCare visits in residents' homes for proactive maintenance and necessary repairs.

• Educating residents about maintenance topics to foster good understanding.

• Performing thorough property condition assessments during each visit and notifying management of any urgent issues.

• Utilizing Technician-specific reports to identify areas for improvement.

• Carrying out repairs on vacant properties that are on the market or in the turn process.

• Using and maintaining company-provided tools, materials, and vehicles responsibly.

• Completing additional duties as assigned.

Your Experience Includes

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• OSHA 10 certification required (new hires can complete this within the first 90 days).

• Experience in residential repairs, building maintenance, or related fields.

• Knowledge of residential construction and mechanical systems, with ability to perform general repairs in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior structural work, basic HVAC, and appliances. Some training will be provided.

• Strong customer service and communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.

• Comfort with using mobile devices such as iPads and various mobile applications.

• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance, along with any required state licenses or certifications.

• Preferred certifications: EPA Certification, Type I and II; HVAC Certification; CPO certification (pool).

• Ability to be reliably present at work, including weekends and holidays as required.

• Possession of basic hand and power tools.

• Physical ability to complete tasks requiring frequent climbing, reaching, use of hands, stooping, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, and lifting, with a capacity to lift over 50 pounds.

The salary range for this position is: $19.11 - $33.13, with potential for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be determined by individual qualifications, experience, and applicable employment laws.
