Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay Range: $26.10 - $39.15
  • Full-time position with 40 hours per week
  • $10,000 Sign-On Bonus eligible with distance-based relocation available
  • $2,000 Sign-On Bonus eligible for PM Shifts

Schedule Details:

This is a full-time evening shift position, requiring availability for 8 or 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with some on-call duties. Most call is overnight with a few weekend slots.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist in gowning, gloving, and draping of the surgical area.
  • Provide necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgery.
  • Monitor aseptic technique and assist the surgical team as required.
  • Transport patients and manage surgical equipment effectively.
  • Adhere to safety and disinfection protocols in the operating room.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of procedures and provide support where needed.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and operating room equipment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform various physical activities.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
