Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily care needs including bathing, dressing, continence support, dining, and mobility assistance
  • Engage actively with residents through conversations and participation in programs and activities
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure each resident's care needs are met effectively
  • Maintain a tidy, safe, and welcoming environment for both residents and team members

Qualifications:

  • Current Connecticut Nurse's Aide Registration
  • Experience and genuine passion for working with seniors
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Must be in good physical and emotional health, free from communicable diseases

Maplewood Senior Living conducts pre-employment screening including background checks, drug screenings, and reference checks.

Education:

Required: Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent.

Licenses & Certifications:

Required: Certified Nursing Assistant.
