Working at Mental Health America of Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio as the Team Lead for recovery services is a dynamic role. This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision, coordination, and promotion of the Peer Support programs in Hamilton, Warren and Clinton counties. We are looking for an empathetic and person-centered individual to join our team.  Give us your best and we’ll give you ours.  

What you’ll do 

  • Provide administrative, educative, and supportive supervision for assigned staff. 

  • Maintain regular communication with community partners regarding the performance and progress of assigned Peer Support staff. 

  • Lead the development and regular updates of the agency’s Program Management tool in collaboration with Peer Support staff. 

  • Actively participate in team meetings, supervisor meetings, trainings and other relevant events as required.  

  • Complete and document client data within required timeframes, ensuring all reports are submitted and stored appropriately. 

What you’ll need 

  • LCDC, LSW or LPC in the State of Ohio 

  • Degree level (Bachelor’s or Master’s) required as determined by the license 

  • Completion of Ohio Peer Recovery Supporter Supervisor Training or completion within 90 days of hire. 

  • Experience working in non-profit or program coordination 

  • Supervisory experience required 

  • Valid Driver’s license in state of residency and active automobile insurance 

  • Willingness to participate in continuous learning and training 

  • Ability to maintain healthy professional boundaries while fostering respectful and collaborative working relationships with community partners and internal teams. 

  • Preference given to candidates with a LSW or MSW in the state of Ohio and/or completion of Ohio Peer Recovery Supporter Supervisor Training 

  • Experience navigating systems of care for clients or family perspectives and experience working with diverse populations and/or in rural communities is highly valued. 

  • Candidates with lived experience with mental health and/or substance use disorders are highly encouraged to apply.
