Job Description:

Pay Range: $75hr - $80hr
Responsibilities:

Management of SAP RISE Managed Infrastructure:
  • Collaborate with business teams, SAP ECS, and IT cross-functional teams to design and optimize SAP's cloud-based software and services portfolio.
  • Ensure scalability, high availability, and performance of SAP systems for long-term sustainability.
  • ct as technical owner of SAP cloud solutions and maintain knowledge of IBP, SAC, Datasphere, Ariba, and BTP.
  • Coordinate with functional product owners for issue resolution, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Provide escalation support for critical incidents requiring cross-team collaboration and leadership.
Basis Administration:
  • Oversee BASIS support activities, including system provisioning, patch and version management, transport management, and performance monitoring.
  • Manage transformation project deliverables with systems integrators and define strategies for managing SAP applications in private and public clouds.
  • Establish metrics to monitor system health, ensure problem resolution, and implement security controls.
Security and Compliance:
  • Develop and enforce SAP security policies, access controls, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Define user roles, authorization, and provisioning processes with system integrators following best practices.
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk reviews.
  • Work with compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Solution Architecture:
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and secure SAP architecture solutions.
  • Design end-to-end solutions that align with business objectives and consider maintainability and security.
  • Recommend SAP modules, components, and integration patterns.
Technical Leadership:
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams, developers, and administrators.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and stay updated on SAP trends and best practices.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional consultants, and project managers.
  • Present architectural proposals and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Proven experience as an SAP Architect, BASIS Administrator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP landscapes, modules, and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA in an SAP RISE Managed Infrastructure environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong technical expertise in SAP security concepts and role-based authorization.
  • Proficiency with SAP GRC tools and processes to support IT controls and access management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with managed service partners (AMS) for SAP application support.
Qualification and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate) preferred.
Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience managing SAP landscapes.
  • Proven expertise in BASIS administration, SAP security, and solution architecture.
