Assistant Restaurant Manager

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly and meets Taco Bell standards. This is a hands-on position where you will manage daily activities while also handling administrative tasks. In the absence of the General Manager, you will provide the necessary leadership to maintain a high-quality dining experience.

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
  • Taking charge of key initiatives, including:
  • Administrative duties
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training new team members
  • Maintenance and upkeep of restaurant facilities
  • Committing to a 50-hour work week
  • Supervising Shift Managers and team members to ensure all tasks are completed and quality service is maintained.
  • Assisting in facility maintenance alongside the General Manager.
  • Helping in the recruitment and development of excellent Team Members and Shift Managers.
  • Ensuring the restaurant is a safe and welcoming environment for both team members and customers.
  • Upholding health and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or university degree is preferred.
  • Prior management experience is advantageous
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced environment effectively.
  • Proficient in computer applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Basic math and accounting skills are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
