Description:
The surgical tech position requires the ability to handle a variety of cases, including adults and pediatrics.
The department has two surgical suites with an average of nine cases performed per day.
A charge nurse is present on each shift, and they do take an assignment.
The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.
Shifts consist of eight hours, scheduled from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
There are on-call requirements for weekends and holidays.
Successful candidates will demonstrate teamwork and a commitment to the role.
Additional time off requests must be provided upfront and cannot be approved later.
The facility allows cancellation of up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius and should not have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with related facilities within the past 12 months.
