Are you a dedicated surgical professional looking for a rewarding opportunity? Join our team as a Certified Surgical Technologist II In this role, you'll take the lead in preparing sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures, while working closely with our passionate operating room team to provide exceptional patient care. You will have the chance to demonstrate your advanced skills in a fast-paced environment, while collaborating with surgeons and nurses to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile supplies and equipment.
- Assist in the surgical procedure and support the surgical team.
- Engage in direct patient care and uphold high standards of practice.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address unexpected situations.
- Perform room duties like supply restocking and customer service.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or an equivalent recognized course.
- High School Diploma and graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or military equivalent.
- At least one year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform job functions in various physical positions including standing, walking, kneeling, and adjusting for patient care.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Maintain good vision, hearing acuity, and tactile sensory functions.
