In this role, you will provide direct patient care under supervision, demonstrating proficiency in point of care testing, phlebotomy, vital signs, injections, specimen collection, and more, with a strong emphasis on pediatric expertise. You will manage patient flow, ensure infection control, and utilize electronic medical records efficiently to document clinical activities accurately. Your professionalism and effective communication will ensure excellent interactions with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to adapt across multiple practices is essential, as duties may include float assignments.
Required Skills:
- Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- Pediatric experience is mandatory and must be clearly indicated in your profile
- Proficiency in performing point of care testing, phlebotomy, injections, specimen collection
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in clinical documentation
- Experience across various outpatient specialties
- Prior experience in a multi-practice healthcare setting
- Knowledge of clinical workflows and patient management strategies
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from an accredited program
- Pediatric clinical experience is non-negotiable
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on outpatient clinical experience preferred
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Ability to work from February 2, 2026, for an approximately 13-week assignment
- Willingness to participate in CQI activities and ongoing professional development
- No holiday or call-back requirements for this position
- All requested time off MUST be approved prior to upload; RTO requests after upload will not be considered unless within policy limits
- Valid certifications, licensures, and any applicable travel or miscellaneous reimbursements will be provided
