As a Surgical Technologist I for evening shifts, you will be an essential part of a dynamic team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, the largest hospital in Wisconsin. Here, we provide exceptional care and advanced surgical services to patients from all over.

Location: Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Shift: 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing the surgical area, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient workspace for optimal patient care.
  • Utilizing aseptic techniques to set up materials, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Assisting healthcare providers by passing instruments, managing supplies, and supporting the surgical team during operations.
  • Maintaining environmental hygiene and operating room efficiency, including setting up and managing various equipment.
  • Transporting patients and assisting with patient positioning while maintaining safety standards.
  • Being proactive in identifying supply or equipment issues and notifying the appropriate staff.
  • Engaging in continuous learning and adhering to the hospital's policies on patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months of employment.
  • No prior experience required—this is a fantastic opportunity to jumpstart your career in surgical technology

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various physical tasks related to patient care.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and composure.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive pay range of $26.10 - $39.15 per hour.
  • $10,000 SIGN-ON Bonus for eligible candidates and $2,000 for evening shifts
