The Clinical Testing Operations Lead plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality psychological and autism diagnostic services by ensuring all clinicians have access to the testing materials, platforms, and resources they need. This position integrates clinical practice with operational oversight-balancing a primary billable caseload with responsibility for managing test kit inventory, assessment platform functionality, and materials coordination across all locations.

The Lead maintains an organized and efficient testing system that supports clinical accuracy, consistency, and compliance. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot technical and materials-related issues to minimize workflow disruptions.
Role Composition:
• 75% Billable Clinical Work
• 10% Clinical Administrative Tasks
• 5% Testing Operations Leadership
Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Service Delivery (75%)
  • Conduct autism diagnostic evaluations using protocol set by organization (e.g., appropriate autism-specific , cognitive, adaptive, and broad symptom screener measures).
  • Provide other billable psychological services as assigned or integrated into departmental operations.
  • Maintain timely , accurate documentation consistent with organizational and payer standards.
  • Meet productivity expectations while maintaining excellence in clinical quality and professionalism.
2. Clinical Administrative Responsibilities (10%)
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and team communications.
  • Complete administrative tasks directly supporting clinical services (e.g., documentation follow-up, scheduling coordination, communication with caregivers and providers).
  • Maintain compliance with all documentation, quality, and reporting standards.
3. Testing Operations Leadership (5%) - Testing Materials & Systems Management
  • Maintain accurate , up-to-date inventory of testing kits, protocols, and materials across all clinic locations.
  • Oversee ordering, distribution, and replacement of testing materials for full-time clinicians.
  • Track usage trends, monitor restocking needs, and ensure secure storage and handling of copyrighted materials.
  • Manage assessment platform accounts (e.g., QGlobal , WPS) and assist with access, setup, or troubleshooting issues.
  • Coordinate collection and reassignment of materials during provider offboarding.
4. Testing Operations Leadership (5%) - Support & Troubleshooting
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clinician questions regarding testing kits, scoring systems, or access barriers.
  • Collaborate with IT, vendors, or leadership to resolve material or platform issues promptly.
  • Support clinicians in maintaining readiness for testing through proactive communication and resource management.
5. Testing Operations Leadership (5%) - Documentation & Planning
  • Maintain a centralized materials log including assignment, location, and condition of test kits.
  • Ensure proper documentation and security of all testing-related resources.
  • Collaborate with leadership to forecast annual supply needs and manage related budget considerations.
  • Participate in periodic reviews to ensure consistency and standardization of testing materials across clinics.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Active, unrestricted psychologist license (or license-eligible within required timeframe ), PsyPact preferred.
  • Master's level provider may be considered.
  • Experience conducting psychological or developmental assessments, preferably including autism diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with assessment tools (e.g., ADOS-2, cognitive and adaptive measures) and scoring platforms (e.g., QGlobal , WPS).
  • Strong organizational and logistical skills with attention to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage competing demands and prioritize effectively.
  • Comfort with technology, digital assessment platforms, and troubleshooting processes.
