We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Landings of Lexington, a 180-unit apartment community located in Lexington, MN.
Position Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the property’s aesthetics and maintenance, ensuring a pleasant living environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspect the property for necessary repairs or replacements.
- Respond to work requests for both common areas and individual apartment units.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks throughout the property.
- Diagnose and repair appliances as required.
- Assist in preparing vacant units to welcome new residents.
- Participate in occasional on-call duties, with a trip stipend provided if called back after hours.
- Foster a safe and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of maintenance experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, and painting techniques.
- Experience with HVAC systems and EPA certification is preferred.
- CPO certification is a plus.
- A valid driver's license and insurance may be required.
Compensation: Hourly rate between $22 - $23, depending on experience, plus potential 5% bonus.
