Human Resources Business Partner

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with management to understand and anticipate business needs related to human resources matters. These include but are not limited to talent acquisition, retention, employee engagement, employee relations, compensation, coaching, and organizational design.
- Provides consultative support while actively executing tactics to accomplish people-related business objectives.
- Leads recruitment/talent acquisition for assigned business units. Supports retention process by assisting with staffing models, internal talent development, and recruitment planning.
- Partners with managers to develop workforce planning, productivity monitoring, and organizational design/optimization.
- Supports/coaches managers to develop and maintain effective communication and change management strategies. Support managers in communicating with staff on departmental, divisional, and organizational initiatives, goals, and objectives.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Partners with HR leadership to communicate employee value proposition, ambassador organizational values and define WECU culture,
- Supports leaders in succession planning, career development, and leadership capability building.
- Provide support in the continual monitoring and improvement of the Total Rewards strategy, in alignment with WECU's objective to maintain an "employer of choice" status.
- Prepare and evaluate program and cost analyses. Assists management in developing staffing budgets and measuring and managing labor costs.
- Collaborate with leaders to implement people and culture initiatives, projects, and strategy.
- Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and provides feedback on the effectiveness of people-related programs at the departmental level. Recommends/provides solutions for improvement as needed.
- Follows WECU's policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned and may also assist others to complete tasks and work assignments.

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, psychology or other related field.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership or business partner roles.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational development.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience in querying, reporting on, and formatting data into multiple formats
- Ability to maintain strict level of confidentiality and security in sensitive areas
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Ability to organize projects, prioritize workflow and complete multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately
- Ability to represent the credit union in a positive, professional manner

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $75,025. to $105,917. annually.
